Every year, NETS develops a 16-page consumer catalogue that is used by our member retailers for fourth quarter advertising. Retail members from a nomination list put together by both retailers and suppliers choose the products featured in the catalogue. The category product selection occurs in May and the final two pages called Latest and Greatest are chosen in early August.

Info for Retailers
All Nets retail members are invited to participate in the product selection process, which begins in late January at the Toronto Toy Show. A list of nominated product will be put forward in May and all retail members will have the opportunity to vote for the products of their choice. In June a list of the selected product along with a catalogue order form will be sent to all NETS retail members. The cost of the catalogue varies based on the number of catalogues ordered. Each catalogue is imprinted on the front and back with your store logo and individual information.

Info for Suppliers
You do not have to be a NETS Supplier member to participate. Suppliers are notified when the product selection process has begun. They can then submit product for consideration to the various selection committee members. Please notify our office if you would like to have your name added to the potential supplier list.

Once products have been nominated, suppliers will be notified and given the opportunity to add one or two other items to the voting list. Voting takes place in late May and suppliers will be notified in early June if their products have been selected. Suppliers are asked to pay a placement fee for each product selected. NETS Supplier members pay a reduced fee. In early August we will choose approximately 15 items for the Latest and Greatest pages of the catalogue. You will be notified in July to submit any products you would like to have us consider. You may be invited to participate in a mini trade show in August where suppliers will showcase the products they would like to put forward for Latest and Greatest. This is a great opportunity to present your mid year introductions to a group of NETS retailers all in one venue.
